Pressure Washer Wet-Sandblasting System

CARBIDE 600Sand Pick System

Turn Your Pressure Washer Into a Wet Sandblaster

Remove rust, paint, and corrosion without spending hours grinding or buying a compressor setup. Blast into seams and corners, cover more surface per pass, and prepare the project for its next restoration step.

  • Wider blasting pattern for fewer repeated passes across frames, panels, and trailers
  • Larger carbide bore designed to reduce clog-related interruptions
  • Reaches seams, joints, corners, and irregular surfaces where flat grinding discs struggle
  • Runs from a compatible pressure washer—no large compressor or blasting cabinet
  • Wet blasting creates substantially less airborne dust than dry blasting

Before & after

Results published on the Carbide 600 product page. Results depend on pressure washer output, abrasive media, surface condition, and technique. Bare metal is wet after blasting—dry the surface and treat it for flash rust the same day.

Why Carbide 600

Built for coverage, not stop-and-go

Grinding Large Surfaces Takes Too Long

Grinding and sanding work one small contact patch at a time. The Carbide 600 spreads the blast across a wider area, reducing repeated passes across frames, panels, trailers, and equipment.

Small Nozzles Interrupt the Job

Small ceramic openings can stop when media is wet, dirty, or contains small impurities. The larger carbide bore is designed to reduce these clog-related interruptions when used with dry, properly sifted media.

Built for Higher-Pressure Work

The carbide nozzle is designed for sustained pressure-washer blasting across the 2,500–10,000 PSI approved operating range. The two-part nozzle and O-ring design also supports cleaning and component replacement.

A Complete Abrasive-Delivery Setup

The kit combines the Carbide 600, reinforced media hose, air control, and SANDPIK suction pickup to feed abrasive into the pressure-washer stream without a large compressor setup.

Compatibility

Will it work with my pressure washer?

Most likely, yes. Here is what your machine needs—and what actually matters.

2,500–10,000 PSIApproved operating range
Gas & electricBoth supported
Standard wandsShort-profile fitting, no adapters for most setups
Dry, sifted mediaRequired for reliable feeding
  • Works with gas and electric pressure washers inside the approved PSI range
  • Connects to standard pressure-washer guns and wands with the included fitting
  • Water flow (GPM) also affects media pickup—real-world performance depends on flow, media, surface, and technique
  • Test delicate surfaces at reduced pressure first

Not sure about your machine? Contact support with its PSI and GPM before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

What PSI do I need?

The approved operating range is 2,500–10,000 PSI, which covers most standard gas and electric pressure washers. Real-world performance also depends on water flow (GPM), media, and technique—contact support with your machine's PSI and GPM if you're unsure.

Will it clog?

Any sandblasting setup can clog if media is wet or dirty. The Carbide 600's wider bore is designed to reduce the clog-related interruptions common with tiny ceramic openings. Use dry, properly sifted media and keep the pickup clean.

What abrasive media should I use?

30-grit abrasive is the preferred all-around starting point. 20-grit cuts heavy buildup faster but can wear nozzles quicker. Garnet, coal slag (Black Diamond-style), and crushed glass also work. Always keep media dry and sift it before use.

Do I need an air compressor?

No. The system runs entirely off your pressure washer. No compressor, no blasting cabinet.

Will it fit my wand?

The included fitting connects to standard pressure-washer guns and wands, and the short-profile design means no adapters for most setups. If your gun uses a non-standard connection, contact support with the model before ordering.

Can I use it on car panels, frames, concrete, boats, or fiberglass?

Frames, panels, trailers, and equipment are its core use. Concrete and graffiti removal work too—test an inconspicuous area first. On boats and fiberglass, reduce pressure, use a milder media, keep the nozzle moving, and always test a small spot first.

How do I prevent flash rust after blasting?

Bare, wet metal can start to flash rust within hours. Let the surface dry fully, then treat it the same day with a rust converter or inhibitor before priming, or prime in the same session.

What exactly is included?

The Carbide 600 nozzle and O-ring, pressure-washer connection fitting, reinforced media hose, air inlet/control section, SANDPIK suction-feed pickup, and a setup guide with a full video walkthrough. The gravity-fed delivery system is a separate optional upgrade. Abrasive media is sold separately.
