Built different

Why This System Works When Others Don't

Most sandblasting setups fail because the flow isn't controlled. Media feeds unevenly, clogs build up, and you're forced to stop constantly. It's not the pressure washer — it's the system behind it.

Why most kits fail

  • It keeps clogging
  • I can't get consistent results
  • I'm wasting time and media

How the system works

Gravity-Fed PVC Bag

Hang it anywhere. Media flows down naturally — no bucket, no suction fighting gravity.

Pinch-Sleeve Valve

Squeeze to reduce flow, release to increase — dial in your media like an hourglass.

Air Inlet Pipe

Air-assisted pickup keeps media moving smoothly and eliminates inconsistent flow.

Reinforced Blue Hose

No kinking. Consistent pressure from system to surface on every job.

4 nozzles — right tool for every job

Ceramic

Light rust and paint removal. Best for first-time blasters.

Carbide 500

Heavier rust. Lasts 10× longer than ceramic.

Most Popular

Carbide 600

Serious corrosion. Cuts fast through thick scale on frames and steel.

Fan Nozzle

Wide coverage. Large flat surfaces done 3× faster.

What this means for you

  • Blast continuously — no stopping to shake or unclog
  • Use only the media you need — less waste, more control
  • Works with any pressure washer you already own
  • From first setup to first job in under 5 minutes

FAQ section image
What does SandBlastKit actually do — and how is it different from cheap kits?

SandBlastKit converts your existing pressure washer into a wet sandblaster — but unlike suction-fed kits that pull media up from a bucket, ours is gravity-fed and air-assisted. You hang the PVC bag above your work area and media flows down naturally through a pinch-sleeve valve, like an hourglass. The air inlet keeps flow consistent so you blast continuously instead of stopping to shake a bucket or clear a clog. Works with any pressure washer from 1,500 to 10,000+ PSI — no compressor or special equipment needed.

Which system and nozzle should I choose?

Start with the PVC Gravity-Fed System — it's the controlled-flow setup designed to reduce clogging and keep you blasting continuously. The Seal Pick is a direct-feed alternative for those who prefer a simpler setup. For nozzles: Ceramic is great for lighter rust and first-time blasters. Carbide 500 is our most popular — longer sessions, lasts 10x longer than ceramic. Carbide 600 is for serious corrosion and heavy steel. Fan Nozzle gives you wide coverage for large flat surfaces like trailers and panels. You can also add nozzles to any bundle for more versatility.

How do I set up the system and start blasting?

Setup takes under 5 minutes: 1) Hang the PVC bag from any hook, ladder, or rack at shoulder height or higher — gravity does the work. 2) Fill with dry, sifted media. 3) Connect the air inlet pipe to the bag. 4) Attach the wand connection to your pressure washer. 5) Pinch the sleeve valve to control flow — more pinch means less media, less pinch means more. Start with a light pinch and adjust. To stop: release the sleeve first, then the trigger. Never cut the water before closing the sleeve or media can backflow into the hose.

What blasting media should I use and how do I reuse it?

Use dry, coarse blasting media — crushed glass, Black Beauty, or aluminum oxide all work well. Avoid play sand, beach sand, or anything damp — wet or fine media clumps and clogs the pinch-sleeve valve. Before every session, run your media through the Sand Sifter to remove debris and moisture. After blasting, spread the used media in the sun to dry, sift it again, and store in a sealed container. A Sand Catch Tarp underneath your work area makes collection easy and helps you reuse 70–80% of your media every session.

How do I protect bare metal after blasting — and stop rust from coming back?

Bare metal starts oxidizing within hours of blasting, so work through this 3-step sequence: Step 1 — Degrease before you blast: Apply Furosegur Heavy Duty Degreaser to remove oil, grease, and contaminants so the media can get clean adhesion to the surface. Step 2 — Convert remaining rust: After blasting, apply AP1 Conversion Coating (phosphoric acid) directly to any remaining rust. It chemically converts rust on contact and preps the surface for primer. Step 3 — Protect with Rust Inhibitor: Apply the Rust Inhibitor immediately after blasting for a protective layer that holds for up to a week — giving you time to prime and paint without flash rust forming.

Can I reuse my blasting media to save money?

Yes — and it adds up fast. Place a Sand Catch Tarp underneath your work area to collect spent media. After blasting, spread it out in the sun to dry completely, then run it through the Sand Sifter to remove dust, debris, and any wet clumps. Store the clean, dry media in a sealed container. Done right, you can recover and reuse 70–80% of your media per session. The gravity-fed system uses only what you need through the pinch-sleeve valve — so you waste less to begin with.

My blasting feels weak or the media keeps clogging — what should I do?

These are the most common fixes: Wet or fine media is the #1 cause of clogs — sift your media thoroughly and make sure it's completely dry before loading the bag. Too much sleeve pinch restricts flow — loosen the pinch-sleeve valve slightly to open up the feed. Bag too low — the bag needs to hang at shoulder height or higher so gravity can do its job. Air inlet not connected — check that the air inlet pipe is firmly attached to the bag; the air assist is what keeps media flowing smoothly through the valve. If your blast feels weak but media is flowing fine, the issue is usually PSI — make sure your pressure washer is up to pressure before opening the sleeve.
